Current Research

My current research utilizes national forest inventory data to describe forest conditions at the state, regional, and national level. I am interested in monitoring forest health from a variety of perspectives and focus much of my work on insect, disease, and weather disturbances. I also engage in research that seeks to improve our ability to monitor forest health over different spatial and temporal scales.
