Water use efficiency at basin and farm scales

Informally Refereed

Abstract

The available water resources in basins are becoming scarce while demands for water are considerably increasing among various sectors due to economic and population growths. Water deficiency is becoming a main constraint for sustainable regional development and it is the primary motivation in creating water to supply user requirements in particular for agricultural demands within a basin.
