The post-conference tour will begin on Friday, 3 June 2016. The tour logistics are still being arranged.
Tentative Plans
- Depart from Little Rock, Friday morning, 3 June 2016
- Return to Little Rock, Monday evening, 6 June 2016
- Participants can plan to return home from Little Rock on Tuesday morning, 7 June 2016
Plans are to spend half of each day traveling, and half of each day in tours of forest management at the following locations:

Uneven-aged management, bottomland hardwoods on private lands in the Mississippi Delta of southeastern Arkansas

Management of longleaf pine forests and woodlands using even-aged and uneven-aged methods with prescribed fire, Kisatchie National Forest, central Louisiana

Management of shortleaf pine forest and woodlands using even-aged methods and prescribed fire, Ouachita National Forest, western Arkansas

Management of oak-hickory forests using uneven-aged methods on private lands in the Ozark Mountains of southeastern Missouri
