Baseliner

A software tool for processing data from thermal dissipation (Granier-type) sap flux probes. The program provides a graphical user interface for data QA/QC and establishing the zero-flow, dTmax “baseline”. Available as a stand-alone application for Windows or open-source MATLAB scripts.

Daily streamflow data for watersheds

These data include daily streamflow data for four watersheds at Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory in Macon County, North Carolina, USA. The station is operated by the Southern Research Station, USDA Forest Service. Data include streamflow for the following stream gages and water years: WS07 (1965–2016), WS14 (1937–2016), WS18 (1937–2016), and WS27 (1947–2016).

Daily air temperature, relative humidity, vapor pressure, PPFD, wind speed and direction for climate stations

The data included consist of daily climatic information recorded at five climate stations at Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory in Macon County, North Carolina, USA: CS01, CS17, CS21, CS28, and CS77. These stations are operated by the Southern Research Station, USDA Forest Service. Data include daily air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure (CS01 only), wind speed and direction, photosynthetically active photon flux density (PPFD), and solar radiation measurements (CS01 only) from 1983 through 2016 (starting year varies per climate station).

This dataset contains 1935–2016 daily air temperature recorded by the National Weather Service maximum/minimum thermometers at the main climate station (CS01) at Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory in Macon County, North Carolina, USA. The station is operated by the Southern Research Station, USDA Forest Service, but is also a cooperative station with the National Weather Service.

Monthly Average Temperature and Precipitation

Spreadsheets containing 70+ years of monthly average temperature and monthly total precipitation from Coweeta's main climate station and a high elevation rain gauge.

These data describe monthly average temperature and precipitation readings at the Coweeta basin. The precip-low sheets report measurements at the lower elevation gauge 19. The precip-high sheet reports precipitation at the higher elevation gauge 31. The temp-sheet reports temperature at the lower elevation climate station 01.

Variables:
NR = Number of annual readings
AVE = Average monthly temperature or precipitation over the reported years.
MIN = Average monthly minimum temperature or precipitation over the reported years.
MAX = Average monthly maximum temperature or precipitation over the reported years.
