Southern Forest Resource Assessment

 The Assessment is organized around questions grouped into five broad categories: Terrestrial (TERRA), Social and Economic (SOCIO), Timber Markets (TIMBR), Forest Health (HLTH) and Aquatic (AQUA). Work plans describe how each question manager plans to address his or her assessment question.

The work plans reached from the above links were first posted in draft form in March and April of 2000 and received public comment during that time. Following revision they will guide how each assessment question will be addressed.

We welcome your suggestions on ways to improve the plans. Each work plan has a "Comment to QM" link that makes it easy to submit comments to its question manager without leaving your browser.
