• Metadata file - contains a list and explanation of differences in methods and definitions encountered, and a description of what was done (if anything) to reconcile the data (HLTH 1b. & c.)
• Compiled information and list of data sources/citations for history of southern forests  (Handout)
• Compiling files of compatible data from earlier surveys, output as tables for analysis and final report

Analyses completed: None

Critical issues:

• What are the Assessment Team’s views/expectations for the "history of southern forests" part of the final report? Briefly descriptive, or as detailed and analytical as time and available data permit?
• Will "projected future of southern forests" be modeled (e.g. Bob Abt’s SRTS Model), or be more of a general "outlook" based on current rates of change from survey data?
