This tabular dataset identifies the leading sources of impairment of rivers and streams (total miles) as reported by each of the States in semi-annual reports (State 305(b) Reports) from 1988 to 1998.

Purpose:

This is the raw data compiled from National Water Quality Inventory Reports that formed the basis for Table 19.4 and Figures 19.1, 19.2, and 19.3 in Chapter 19 (AQUA-1) of the Southern Forest Resource Assessment Technical Report.
