Abstract:
This dataset describes county-level forest growth as predicted by the PnET-II model for the Climate Change Impacts on the United States: The Potential Consequences of Climate Variability and Change report.
Purpose:
This dataset was included to document predictions of changes in southern forest growth over space and time.
Supplemental_Information:
The original dataset was modified in two ways for SFRA. First, the units were converted from grams per meter square per year to tons per acre per year to meet the SFRA English unit standard. Second, the data were scaled from a 0.5 degree by 0.5 degree grid resolution to a county resolution to meet the SFRA reporting unit standard.
