These data are projections, 1995-2040, of forest area by management type, by Forest Inventory and Analysis Survey Unit (or by Ecoregion), by projection scenario, developed using the Subregional Timber Supply Model. This data file repeats the same information as area.dbf, but rearranged to better support mapping by survey unit.

Purpose:

To project forest area in the South for the Southern Forest Resource Assessment.
