Notes:
The effect of harvesting only the swamps in the NE block resulted in a temporary rise in the water tables, but the magnitude was less than in the SW block where the flatwoods and swamps were harvested.
In both there was little difference in response between water tables identified as being in hydric versus non-hydric soils.
