There appears to be an inverse-U shaped relationship between pine plantation probability and site class (quality). High numbers are low quality. But because we modeled this variable as continuous, it might be expressing a technical econometric fitting problem in the model…we would have expected higher site quality stands to be more likely to be a plantation, ceteris paribus.
