Notes:
Do not compare industry and NIPF stand age differences from Kentucky age within a state. The more informative comparison is within an ownership category across states. Older stands are found in northern states, ceteris paribus, and this is true for industry and NIPF owned forests. If a stand is owned by industry, it is youngest in Tennessee. If a stand is owned by NIPF, it is youngest in Oklahoma, ceteris paribus.
