AQUA-4: October 2000 Progress Report
What are the implementation rates and effectiveness of BMP's in the South?

To date I've drafted and slightly revised the BMP AQ detailed issues "Evaluate factors influencing sediment production and effective measures for reducing sedimentation" and "Define the full range of benefits deriving from BMPs". I've just finished the 1st time through the draft of "Document the effectiveness of BMPs in protecting water quality". I've received most of the states' monitoring reports and am about ready to look at the individual state BMP compliance rates and regulatory vs non-regulatory programs for protecting water quality.
