Current Research:

Economic and policy analysis of local and regional impacts of wildfire and analysis of wildfire suppression and pre-suppression programs and policies; impacts of government policies and farmer preferences on agroforestry adoption; economic and policy analysis of forested wetlands restoration, protection and conservation; effects of goverment policies and market factors on forest management.

Collaborative Research:

Analyzing landowner preferences for managing forested wetlands and the influence of program design attributes on wetland restoration decisions; evaluating econometric methods for analyzing tree planting behavior and adoption of agroforestry; meta-analysis of adoption of tree planting and agroforestry by landowners; community actions, decisions, and effectiveness in adapting to wildfire threats; analyzing the efficacy, efficiency, and optimization of fuels management on wildfire frequency and intensity.
