My current research focuses on decision-support toolsin forest management and planning, wildlife habitat modeling, ecosystem management, quantitative landscape ecology, and spatial statistics. Collaborative Research: Hierarchical modeling of habitat attributes at multiple scales; modeling desert vegetation dynamics to examine effects of spatial pattern of vegetation, drought, and grazing on rangeland degradation; and ecological economics of natural resources.
