Camping on Morehead District
These campgrounds are located near Cave
Run Lake on the Morehead
District.
Recreation Opportunity Guides (ROGS) are letter-sized
information sheets about our campgrounds, recreation areas and trails.
The front page of the ROG will tell you how to get there, what facilities
are available, if a fee is required, contact information, safety tips,
historic information and much more. The back page of the ROG has a map

Notice: Motorized vehicles (golf carts, ATVs, scooters, etc)
are not to be used for travel within campgrounds on the district.

| Beach |
The beach is open end of May through end of October,
11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. Registered campers may use the beach
free of charge. Non-camper fees are $5 per car (5/car) $1 per additional
person; $1 per person commercial buses and vans over 15 persons. |
| Group Use Areas |
These areas are available for use by groups.
West Group Area:
(up to 180 people). Day use only. Pavilion, grills, flush toilets,
horseshoes, volleyball, softball.
East Group Area: (up to 100 people). Overnight or day use.
Pavilion, grills, flush toilets and showers, horseshoes, boat
dock, tent pads.
Tent Group Area: (up to 60 people). Overnight use. Fire ring,
tent pads, horseshoes, flush toilets and showers. No pavilion. |
