Environmental EducationWelcome to the Daniel Boone National Forests' Environmental Education Program. This document describes selected activities our staff is available to conduct at local schools. The activities involve the students in hands-on learning opportunities that help make learning fun. Most activities are interdisciplinary and meet state and national standards. We believe these activities will increase understanding of natural resources and help students contribute toward achieving a sustainable future. If you have a special program request on a specific subject not included here, let us know and we will try to provide it. To schedule a program at your school, contact the ranger district office closest to your school.
