Description: This brochure presents examples of analyses included in the first four Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) national technical reports. Its purpose is to introduce the reader to the kinds of information available in these and subsequent FHM national technical reports. Indicators presented here include drought, air pollution, forest fragmentation, and tree mortality. These and other indicators were generally analyzed by broad ecological regions characterized by similar climate, vegetation, geology, and soils. Sources are provided for additional information about these analyses, as well as the FHM Program in general.
