| Description: | DYNARIP is a policy-oriented model capable of tracking all of the treatments and disturbances experienced by the forest resources of an entire State or regional area. It can also isolate the impact of any one of the 27 man-caused or natural disturbances (including natural succession and forest land-base changes). The model is driven by empirical rates of change as measured by forest inventories between two points in time. A few simple controls permit the entry of the user's own perceptions of the future into the model. |
