Southern Research Station Employee Honored By Secretary Of Agriculture

-- Anne Weiskircher, Columbia KY, will receive a Secretary of Agriculture Honor Award for Outstanding Customer Service at a ceremony in Washington, DC on June 5, 2000. This national honor recognizes Weiskircher for outstanding customer service to USDA Forest Service employees for domestic and foreign travel and transfers-of-station. She has been an employee of the Southern Research Station since 1997, and provides expertise on travel to Forest Service scientists, who must frequently travel within and outside the United States, and to other Forest Service employees at several locations throughout the South. Station Director Pete Roussopoulos said, "we are fortunate to have Anne on our staff and very proud that she is receiving this recognition for the excellent support she provides our workforce."
