2007 Photography Contest

The winners for the Station’s 2007 Photography Contest have been chosen. The primary objective of the contest was to provide high-resolution images for the Station’s online photo gallery and for use in high-quality printed materials such as the Compass. The categories in which the contestants competed were People at Work, Scenic, Flora, Fauna, and Other. The winners of each category received a spot award for their winning entry; their photo will be prominently displayed at Station Headquarters and will be added to the SRS online photo gallery. There was a first, second, and third placed winner for each category.

In the People at Work category, the winners are Evelyn Wenk, Luis Ortiz-Lopez, and Daniel Leduc; the winners of the Scenic category are Bill Bechtold, Luis Ortiz-Lopez, and Emrys Treasure; in the Flora category, Bill Bechtold, Evelyn Wenk, and Mary Williams; in the Fauna category, Luis Ortiz-Lopez, Evelyn Wenk, and Mark Vukovich; and in the Other category, Luis Ortiz-Lopez, Gayle Henderson, and Bill Bechtold. Congratulations to all contestants.
