Unit Library

 

Our Unit library contains one of the most extensive collections of publications related to forest operations. The library houses numerous journal articles from the Society of American Foresters, the Forest Products Society, and the Technical Association of the Pulp & Paper Industry.

You will find Technical Reports and Technical Notes published by the Forest Engineering Research Institute of Canada. Also included are Technical Releases and Highlights from the Forest Resources Association, research reports from the Forestry Research Institute of Sweden and the Finnish Forest Research Institute, and Research Papers from the American Society of Agricultural Engineers, the Council on Forest Engineering, and the Norwegian Forest Research Institute.

The library provides an abundant selection of Engineering Field Notes and General Publications by the USDA Forest Service, along with General Technical Reports and Resource Bulletins by the Forest Service Research Stations. These include the Forest Products Laboratory, the Northcentral Station, the Northeastern Station, the Pacific Northwest Station, the Pacific Southwest Station, the Rocky Mountain Station, and the Southern Research Station.

With over 10,000 publications to date, visitors can find information on topics ranging from Aerial logging to forestry practices in Yugoslavia.
