Investigations of Cerulean Warblers in the northern Andes 2005-2006
In 2005, the Cerulean Warbler Technical Group received funding from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to support conservation activities of the Group. Some of these funds were dedicated to supporting field surveys to locate and study populations of the birds in the northern Andes in the 2005-2006 nonbreeding season. The survey reports are now available on-line (see title links). Learn more.

During 17, 18 and 19 July, 2006, the Migratory Birds Program of the US Department of Agriculture Forest Service, WWF Colombia and the Alexander von Humboldt Institute, along with other environmental organizations like EcoCiencia of Equador and the University de la Molina of Peru), worked on designing a distribution model of the Cerulean Warbler (Dendroica cerulea) for South America.
