November 2000

November 2000 showed similar overall activity to the previous two months. Perhaps the most surprising aspect of total activity was the lack of a drop during the long Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 23-26). Interest in hurricanes waned with the end of hurricane season while interest in tropical rain forests rose. Not so easy to ascribe to seasonal trends, the Lab's home page saw more activity than in earlier months. Congrat's are due to Jeff Prestemon, he was an author in all three of the most popular full-text pubs!
