Timber Production, Investment, and Sustainability in the South

Description:
This is a special study funded by the USFS RPA Assessment to examine long-run demands for and sustainability of forest production in the U.S. South. The research incorporates research on land use, timber production, and investment potential at a county level of resolution to examine where harvesting may expand, where land use may shift away from forests and where resource conflicts may emerge. Research is still in exploratory stages.
