Cost Changes in Southern U.S. Pulpwood Harvesting

Description:

Analysis of southern pine pulpwood harvesting systems indicates that substantial increases in productivity and decreases in per unit costs occurred between 1979 and 1987. These changes were attributable to increased use of longwood harvesting systems in the region.
