Annual forest management activities of TIMOs and Industrial landowners in Mississippi during 1998-1999

This study reports results from a survey of timberland investment management organizations (TIMOs) and industrial timberland owners in Mississippi during 1998-1999. Respondents were asked to report acres owned by forest type, silvicultural treatments, and regneration and harvest information. Results provide information on how TIMOs and industrial landowners manage their timberland annually. Additionally, evidence suggests TIMOs and large industrial landowners manage their lands similarly.
