This diagram highlights the old reporting regions that were split up and merged into other regions to create the new regions. Other boundary changes were made as well, including dropping of South Florida’s price report and more minor boundary changes elsewhere. Merged regions with the most spotty reporting were those along the Mississippi Delta in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
