unique mesocosm facility for exploring the interactions of water
regimes on soil and plant processes, located at the Santee Experimental Forest.
Analytical
Laboratory
The
Center has a central analytical laboratory for the analyses of
soil, water and vegetation materials.
The laboratory generally employs EPA (water) or National Soil Survey (soil) methods, but it is also capable of implementing study-specific methodologies.

Guest
House
The
Center maintains a guest house for
visiting scientists, students and collaborators. The house is on
the Santee Experimental Forest , approximately 30 miles from Charleston.
