Ecological Processes & Restoration Team
To recapture or restore the functions and values of bottomland hardwood
communities for those systems where functions and values are currently nonexistent or
degraded.
To better understand ecosystem processes and functions within or involving bottomland
hardwood communities and apply this knowledge to ecosystem management, restoration and/or
maintenance at the site, region, and global levels.
