Dr. Susie Adams joined the Center in 1999, but she is no stranger to the agency. Susie began her Agency career as a Volunteer Backcountry Ranger on the Boise NF, Wildland Firefighter on Payette NF in Idaho, and later as a Biological Aid, Forestry Technician, Hydrological Technician with the Rocky Mountain Research Station, She was also in FS fisheries trainee program, received her doctoral degree from Univ. of Mont. and did a post-doc stint with the Flathead Lake Biological Station. Susie’s speciality is stream ecology with emphasis on anadromous fishes and mechanisms limiting non-native invasive species.
