Dr. Mason "Buck" Bryant joins CBHR Staff
Dr. Mason "Buck" Bryant has accepted the position of Research Fisheries Biologist at the Center for Bottomland Hardwoods Research. Dr. Bryant is transferring from Juneau, AK where he has been a Research Fisheries Biologist with the Aquatic and Land Interactions Program of the Pacific Northwest Research Station, US Forest Service. Buck is a native of Maine, with an undergraduate degree from the University of Maine, Orono, and a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Bryant will be joining the Center staff in Stoneville and will study the fisheries of streams and rivers in the Mississippi Alluvial floodplain.
