| Description | The second Emerging Issues Along Urban/Rural Interfaces conference, sponsored by the USDA Forest Service, Auburn University's Center for Forest Sustainability, and others, will be held at the Sheraton Atlanta, April 9-12, 2007. The focus of this conference is the linking of ecological aspects and human dimensions of land-use science and practice along urban/rural interfaces, with interfaces construed broadly. Joining Joe as keynote speakers are Dr. Ann Bartuska (Deputy Chief of Research and Development for the USDA Forest Service), Dr. Art Gold (University of Rhode Island), Dr. Bill Shaw (University of Arizona), and Dr. Mark Eigenraam (Department of Primary Industries, Victoria, Australia). |
