SRS-4702, Integrated Life Cycle of Wood: Tree Quality, Processing, and Recycling. This unit's mission is to enhance wood resource conservation and sustainability through advanced timber analysis and wood processing, and effective wood product recovery, reuse, and recycling.

SRS-4701, Utilization of Southern Forest Resources. This unit defines and applies fundamental chemistry, material science, and engineering principles to the utilization and processing of southern forest resources in an environmentally sound way.
