be
a US citizen
be accepted by Alabama
A&M University
major in Forestry,
Soil Science, Environmental Science, or Plant Science
maintain a cumulative
GPA of 2.8
complete a minimum
of 12 credit hours each semester
accept a summer work
assignment with the USDA Forest Service at any
location nation-wide
agree to work for
the USDA Forest Service after graduation one year for
each year of financial assistance received
