SERVICE!  WE CAN SHOW YOU HOW TO SHAKE DOWN

$5,000 PER YEAR

To receive this financial assistance a student must:

be a US citizen
be accepted by Alabama A&M University
major in Forestry, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or Plant Science
maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.8
complete a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester
accept a summer work assignment with the USDA Forest Service at any
     location nation-wide
agree to work for the USDA Forest Service after graduation one year for
     each year of financial assistance received

TO APPLY:
complete the application for Financial Assistance Programin Forestry
    and related sciences
complete OF612 application
complete the Financial Acceptance Form after you have been accepted into the program
review the service agreement
 

Apply for a student position (STEP) for the summer as a Conservation Education Intern
