Welcome to Research Work Unit-4804's website. This unit is the Forest Service's principal unit concerned with effects of Federal, State and local taxes, laws and regulation on forestry. The unit also analyzes export markets for southern softwood products and the economics of innovative silvicultural practices on southern forests.
