Current Research: Research to determine the potential for exporting softwood products from the eastern United States.  Current studies are examining trends in exports of softwood forest products from the southern United States, exchange rate impacts on southern wood products exports, and potential trade impacts of the NAFTA environmental side agreement.
Collaborative Research:  Economics, legal, and social science research relating to forest-based rural development and wood products international trade.
