George W. Andrews Forestry Sciences Laboratory
Auburn, Alabama

The G.W. Andrews Forestry Sciences Laboratory is located on the campus of Auburn University. The modern office/laboratory facility dedicated in 1976, contains well equipped environmental chemistry and soil laboratories and a large forest engineering research laboratory. Adjacent buildings house greenhouse, shop/warehouse, vehicle storage and chemical storage facilities. Cooperating USDA and university departments on campus provide additional research facilities. This laboratory is utilized by 11 scientists and approximately 20 support staff, organized into two Research Work Units. SRS 4552 -- The Forest Vegetation Management and Longleaf Pine Research Unit, and SRS 4703 -- The Forest Operations Research Unit.

From I-85 Exit 51, take US Highway 29 toward Auburn. Take a left on S. Donahue and the next left on to Devall Drive. The G.W. Andrews Forestry Sciences Laboratory is located at 520 Devall Drive.
